Most of us were never taught to understand our own cycles. But what if our daughters could start learning much sooner, growing up understanding their bodies and knowing what feels normal for them?
Everything you need to know.
The Ladybird Club is a period and cycle tracker for girls aged 9 and up. It helps her understand her cycle, her body and the patterns between her period, her feelings, her sleep and everyday life. There's an optional parent side too, so parents can understand her a little better.
It's free for girls, always. Every feature on her side is free, with no upgrades or locked features. Parents can join free to receive serious safety alerts and a notification when she sends a message. An optional parent plan adds the full parent dashboard.
Her personal space stays private. Everything she tracks and writes stays hers. Parents only ever see her patterns, and any message she chooses to send. Her journal writing is also encrypted.
Girls aged 9 and up who've started their period. Some girls start at 9, others later in their teens, and both are completely normal.
From her first period. The app is built around tracking her cycle, so it starts from then. Before that, our articles on periods and growing up can help her know what to expect.
A free parent account gives you serious safety alerts and lets you know when she sends you a message. The optional parent plan adds the full dashboard: her patterns, reading and replying to her messages, all alert levels and guides for parents. Alerts are prompts for a gentle check-in, not a diagnosis, and they never show what she wrote. They can miss things and can't tell how serious something is, and nobody at The Ladybird Club watches them around the clock.
Most period trackers are made for adults. The Ladybird Club is made for girls, with age-appropriate content, a focus on understanding rather than just predicting dates, and a private space that feels like hers. And if she wants, it can make conversations at home a little easier.
There's no AI chatbot for your daughter to talk to. The Ladybird Club has no friend lists, social feeds or advertising, and we never sell personal information or use it for advertising.
The Ladybird Club was created by Ellie, a mum in perimenopause, for her daughter and girls everywhere. Read our story.
